Greetings from the Sunshine State

Good evening.....
Here in Florida it is evening although California is still in the afternoon. On Wednesday Kristen took us to the airport and we flew to Denver, then Atlanta, then Pensacola, arriving about 10 pm. Our flights all departed on time and we arrived at our destinations a few minutes early. We have greatly enjoyed our time here in Florida. Cyndy has taken us around the area so we could see this place she loves so much. It is green and beautiful. We had a lot of rain on Thursday and a little on Friday. The humidity has not even bothered us. The last two days have been blue skies. In the early morning hours of Friday Marian, Tristin and two friends arrived from Tennessee.

Yesterday we all drove over to Lynn Haven (2 1/2 hours away) and spent a wonderful couple of hours visiting with Uncle Merrill, Aunt Laureen, Susan, Dell, Cody, Stephanie and her son Brandon. Laurie is still recovering from her back surgery but most of her problem now is in her leg. Merrill still struggles with leg pain from his bypass surgery. They both look good and Susan and family are very happy and very glad to be in FL.
Today in Sacrament Meeting Dad gave Tristin a name and a blessing. He is a sweet little boy and very smart. It was good to see Marian. They left a few hours ago for their 8 hour drive back home.
Tomorrow morning we fly out of Pensacola at 9:14 am for Atlanta and then on to Philadelphia, landing at 2:27 pm. We look forward to our upcoming visits. Three weeks from tomorrow we enter the MTC!

Love and prayers....
Mom
